Use wisdom as you send your kids to college

My plea to all is to be wise in where your children go to college.  Check out the college especially if it is a "Baptist Christian" college.  I say that because so many "Christian" colleges are teaching liberal theology (the Bible is full of errors and contradictions, the first 11 chapters of Genesis are figurative and not literal or historical, Theistic Evolution, Homosexuality is not a sin, etc, etc.) and are leading students astray that go to a "Christian" college with their gaurd down.  The reason I tell you this is because I went to a "Baptist Christian" college that taught the things above and I saw students, not lead to Jesus, but rather lead away from Him.  The college I went to is located in Jefferson City, Tennessee and unless some big changes take place at that college I do not recommend anyone going there or sending their kids there!  If you want to know the name of the college.  Do a search for college in Jefferson City Tennessee.

This is a growing concern.  "Christian" seems to have a wide breadth of meaning.

My state school public university (Texas A&M University) was more "Christian" than many out there with the word in the name, for at least we had great college ministries and great churches to support us and it was "hip" to be Christian on the campus.
