What is a Biblical Theology of Worship?

What is worship?...Is it the singing time during a church service...Is it reading your Bible...Is it going to church...Is it praying...Is it doing good things for others.   Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes!   Worship cannot be limited to a certain activity or a certain time of the day or week.  I think Noel Due in his book Created for Worship sums up worship according to what the Bible teaches, in this this quote, "When we speak of 'worship' then, we are not speaking about an activity of one's life , but speaking of the activity of one's life, which gives that life its entire focus and direction. It is a core orientation rather than a periphial action."  This book is an excellent book on the teachings of the Bible regarding worship.  Another great book is Engaging with God by David Peterson.  What are your thoughts on worship?

Biblical worship is most often identified with sacrifice in the scriptures. I would have to agree with your thoughts. Our lives should be a continuos out flow of worship. Paul refers to this as presenting your body as a living sacrifice.
