The Missional Network is sponsored by the North American Mission Board (an agency of the Southern Baptist Convention) as a result of numerous request from Souther Baptist Pastors and leaders. The purpose of the Network is to empower SBC churches to be more contextually effective by connecting them to relevant resources and resource providers.
To faciliate this, the web community is an open community. The events hosted by the Missional Network are all done in cooperation with NAMB's state and local partners. However, most of these events are open to particpants from outside of the SBC.
