About Tim Yarbrough

Tim Yarbrough is team leader of Church Relations at the North American Mission Board (NAMB). Church Relations is responsible for inspiring and mobilizing Southern Baptists for ministry through local, association, state and national events, On Mission Celebrations, Global Impact Celebrations and the Southern Baptist Acts 1:8 Challenge initiative. Church Relations also enlists missionary speakers and connects missionaries and churches through the Missionary Encourager (Adopt-A-Missionary) initiative. Tim has led or been a part of dozens of mission trips to more than 10 countries and was a member of the team that organized the first World Changers mission projects for Southern Baptist students in 1991. The North American Mission Board (NAMB) is the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) mission agency which, in cooperation with state conventions, assists SBC churches in reaching the United States, Canada, and their territories with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Board oversees the work of more than 5,000 missionaries who are supported through the Cooperative Program and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering® for North American missions.
