About bobby gilstrap

Bobby Gilstrap is the Director of Missions for Huron and Southeastern Baptist Associations in southeastern Michigan. He is also the host and moderator of the Audio Conference for Pastors (www.findMIchurch.org/AudioConference). His associational ministry includes assisting churches with missional strategy, church starting, evangelism and church health and growth. He has served as a pastor and church starter and as a mentor, supervisor and consultant for numerous pastors and church planters. Gilstrap has broad educational and professional experience. He holds a doctor of ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO; a master of divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX; and a bachelor's degree in sociology from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, OK. Prior to his current position, Gilstrap has served several churches in associate positions and as the pastor of five churches. In addition to his 25+ years of ministry experience, he has started several photography businesses, and has been in management and sales for several media, retail and marketing businesses. His family (Brenda, Robert, & Andrew) have lived in Ypsilanti, MI since January of 2001.
